Today was interesting for me. I did the exercise routine I said I would do last night. I did the exercise routine again today. I only worked for a few hours today and I didn't eat the chicken salad I said I would eat. Way worse than that, I went to a Chinese buffet. I didn't eat nearly as much as I usually do. In fact I didn't even eat to the point of being uncomfortable, which was a good thing. I haven't had a drop of soda for the last 3 days. I feel my energy going up just a little.
So I didn't fulfill on the promises I made yesterday. I am committed to keeping my promises in this process and I simply didn't do that. I can see there are some potential issues tomorrow. I will be off work which is a problem for me because it means I either need to cook or I need to spend money eating out. I don't normally have this issue because I eat at work. This is a problem because it's fairly predictable that I will go eat out and order what ever the heck I want from the menu. So I am committed to eating at home tomorrow which presents its own challenges. See I am a horrible cook because I simply have no real idea how to do it. The best I have ever done is making some pastas and cooking meats on the stove top. Tomorrow I will make a turkey burger for lunch. That is the promise I am making for eating tomorrow. I will make mahi mahi for dinner for my wife. Maybe on a bed of pasta.
I might actually take on learning to cook for myself and for my wife in the process of this weight loss. I am not using any products for this challenge I have created for myself. I am simply trying to lose weight without having to spend any more money than I would normally spend on some groceries. I will do the same kung fu routine I have been doing for the last few days because it is very challenging for me to get through it. I promised the other day to post a before picture of myself but I can't seen to find the picture I took so I will take another and get it uploaded in the next few days.
Another issue I am hoping will go away in this process is I have some pretty serious acid problems. I took some pills for it over the past few weeks. The problem had completely gone away over the past few weeks but I have to stop taking the pills for a few months because that is what the directions say on the packaging. So I am hoping over this process I will be able to get this issue to go away as well.

Losing weight Day 2
Today I drank only tea. I didn't drink any soda. That is 2 days in a row that I haven't drank soda. This is a huge deal for me . I ate the chicken sandwich I said I would eat. I didn't even graze much today.So another victory for me. I did go to Carls' Jr. for dinner. There was a sandwich there that I really wanted to try. It was a very good tasting sandwich. I did not order any sides although I did have a few of my wife's fried zucchini. I drank tea at dinner as well. Tomorrow I will eat a grilled chicken salad. I will continue drinking water and tea. I will do my kung fu routine again. I am writing this before I do my kung fu routine tonight but I will get that done as soon as I put this computer down. So in less than five minutes and I will confirm tomorrow that I did that.

Day 1
Today I promised not to drink any soda. I succeeded! I thought it was going to be a lot harder than it was. I just finished the kung fu routine that I said I would do. I almost wrote that I didn't do the kung fu routine but decided to get up off my butt and do what I said I would do. So to day was a success over all.
I started to get some soda out of habit when I first got to work but I remembered my promise and reconsidered and I got water. This blog is a great accountability tool for me. I mean the reason I did what I said I would do today was because I knew I had made a promise and that I would have to write about it tonight. I also
I can't say the whole day was healthy by any means however. I had a Rueben sandwich for lunch which is hardly good for me. I also snacked on various other things that were bad for me for the day. I had an entire package of Oreos, chips, and various other items that I was just grazing on through out the day. Not so good.
For tomorrow I am promising to eat a chicken breast sandwich for lunch. I will drink primarily water. I will likely have some tea as well. Still no soda.
I will do another set of my kung fu exercise set again tomorrow. So until tomorrow have a great day!

Losing wieght.
I am committed to losing weight. I currently weigh any about 260-275. I am committed to losing weight until I get down to 180. So nearly 100lbs. I am going to be posting daily promises. A plan for what I will eat for the day and an exercise plan. Some of the exercise plan won't make to much sense because I have done kung fu for 19 years and I will be talking a little about that, however I will be talking about working out at 24 hour fitness as well.
I am promising to lose 95lbs in the next 90 days. Tomorrow will be the first day I will be embarking upon this plan. Tomorrow I will be working from 12-10pm. I have a horrible habit of drinking soda all day long at work. I work as a delivery driver for a philly cheese steak restaurant so bad food and drinks are abundant. Tomorrow I am promising not to drink any soda. Water is all I will drink for the entire 10 hours I am there. I am also promising to do at least one round of yueh fei's 18 continuous postures. (a set of kung fu exercises)
I will post tomorrow about how I did and I will make new promises at that time. I will also be uploading some images of what I look like now so I can track my progress.
